Toyota Repair: speedometer, chiltons repair manuals, toyota camry v6

My speedometer works but it seems to start inclining when i get about 15 miles per out, like it is stuck what could be the malfunction? It is on a 1990 toyota camry v6 dlx 2vz-fe

I don't know how many miles are on your car but with the
combination of age and miles the cable probably needs lubrication.
You must pull the instrument panel out, (instructions are in Haynes
and Chiltons repair manuals). Speedometer cable grease is available
at auto parts stores.
