Why do you want to remove it? They don't normally go bad. Has
an honest mechanic checked it out for you? If its truly bad I suggest
you buy or go to a library and get a Haynes or Chilton repair manual
for that vehicle. The manual will show you how to remove it and the tools you need. I don't know your mechanical skills, I recommend
you have a technician do the work.
