Toyota Repair: Toyota wont start, 1991 toyota corolla, phillips screw

1991 Toyota Corolla New fuel pump and filter has been installed and now will not start unless holding ignition in the start position.

Most likely a problem with the ignition switch, the electrical part of the switch can be replaced, it's attached to the rear of the ignition switch with one phillips screw, you will need to remove the lower dash cover to get to the switch and the connector.Was this problem there before replacing the fuel pump?
