QuestionI have a 95 Camry (255000 miles). Recently, in the morning, when I start out the engine idles unevenly, almost dying. My longtime mechanic replaced the ignition coil, but the problem is still there. I keep a full tank in cold weather.
Also, when should I look for before replacing the power-steering components.
My previous car was a Tercel that gave me 277000 great miles. Thanks
AnswerThis idle problem is most likely caused by a sticking idle air control valve, I would recommend replacing the valve to fix this, it's located on the bottom of the intake throttle body. Power steering components do not need to be replaced until there is a problem.
