Toyota Repair: TRD suspension, stock tires, bump in the road

I'm unhappy with the ride quality of the 06 Tacoma TRD, you feel every bump in the road. What do I need to do to soften the ride without jeopardizing handling? springs? front? rear? shocks( it has bilsteins).

Does it have the stock tires and wheels that came originally with the truck, if so then the only thing I can suggest is that you use the shocks from a regular tacoma that is not the TRD version, the TRD version is more off-road oriented and it will have a rougher ride than the other trucks.
