Question
Warning light on instrument panel is on indicating that a rear light is out, however all rear lighting is fine and functional but instrument panel warning light remains on.  A short perhaps or ?

Bulb is burned out. I hear this all the time.
See. All the rear bulbs are pretty much dual filiment bulbs (Two bulbs in one glass housing.) Trust me, somewhere - one of the second filiments is out. :)

But yeah, it could be the odd short, but it's pretty much 95%+ in my experiances it's just not finding the bulb with the second filiment that's out.
