Toyota Repair: Engine Stall - 1990 Camry DX, laser light show, trouble lights

Hi.

I have an intermittant problem with a 1990 Camry Dx.  The engine will suddenly lose power when accelerating and sometimes stallout when accelerating from a stop.  No trouble lights or check engine lights.

Details:  1990 Camry DX
2L engine
Auto Trans
104,000 miles

Seems to do it more often when it is wet/damp outside or after sitting for a few days.
Has all new filters (air and fuel).

Any suggestions?

Answer
spray windex on the plug wires anr\d cap, see if you get a mini laser light show. Repair as neccesary.
Also check the coil for a burnt mark under tyhe dist cap. replace coil if burnt.
Also seen bad temp sensor do that but not weather related.
