Toyota Repair: Squeaky clutch pedal, 2000 4 runner, clutch pedal, humid weather

Hi, I have a 2000 4 runner, 105k, and the clutch pedal squeaks (like a spring noise), particularly in humid weather, on both depressing and releasing.  The dealer fixed it under warranty the 1st time at 40k.  How do I fix it now, as it appears that a fix is good for about 40k?  (great car otherwise). If the noise is inside the vehicle, Its the pedal assembly under the dash. It may have a cracked mounting bracket.
Its real hard to see it if you dont know what to look for.
May want to go to the dealer and get an estimate.
Not a do it yourself job.
