Toyota Repair: Catalytic Converter...., toyota hotline, toyota vehicles

Question
The 'check engine' light is on (I have a 2001 4Runner Limited,106,000miles).The problem is the
catalytic converter. My question is..what's the
warranty on this part..?Would the dealer replace
it for free? (..even with this outgoing milage).

Probably 8 yrs  80,000 miles

I dont think they will help you at 106K miles.
You can always voice your displeasure to the toyota hotline in the back of your owners manual.
They may give the part and you pay labor, or go 50-50 with you.
It may depend on your service history or how many toyota vehicles you own.
