How do you replace the expantion valve on a 1985 Toyota Pickup?  4 cylinder

Answer
The expansion valve is locatted in the evaporator housing under the dash on the right side, all the freon in the system has to be removed and the a/c lines disconnected, the glove box removed, the evaporator housing is connected to the air duct with a few 10mm screws which must be removed, any wire connectors will have to be disconnected then the evap housing can be removed and disassembled to get to the exp valve.
