Toyota Repair: Electric windown on drivers side 1999 Toyota Corolla, toyota corolla, car person

Our 99 Toyota Corolla windows slowly goes down and then only 1/4" at a time goes back up?  Could it be the switch or is it probably the motor shot?  What does this usally cost for repair and is it something that a weekend car person can do with instructions?

It sounds like a window motor.
should be about a hundred bucks and 1-1/2 hours labor.

The door panel comes off then you have to seperate the motor from the regulator and reassemble.
Difficulty would be - moderate.

If you try and get in over your head it shouldnt affect the price to repair it. You could give it a shot.
