Toyota Repair: Rotten Egg Smell, toyota corolla, rotten eggs

My 2003 Toyota Corolla emits an odor that smells like rotten
eggs when I use the AC, heater, or intermittently after the car
has been driven for a short time.  The dealer has said there is
nothing that can be done and I have to live with the problem.  
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Take the car back to the toyota dealer and tell them to look up a service bulletin that the factory has issued regarding this concern, tell them to refer to TSB EG016-04.
It involves reprogramming the on board ECU and replacing the catalityc converter, this is in effect for 8yrs/80,000 miles and is covered under the emission control warranty.
