QuestionThe dealer told me that my car with 58K needs a rsbb lube to the tune of $102. What is this? Is the price reasonable?
The dealer wants $150 to replace the fuel filter. Can I do this myself?
Also, can I do the A/C evaporator unit "mold/mildew cleansing" for less than their quoted $150 price?
Thanks for your help!
AnswerI have no idea what this rsbb lube is, never heard of it, the fuel filter is inside the gas tank and there is no recommended replacement interval, it's a lifetime filter, also not sure why they want to do the a/c deodorizing service unless there is an odor that you complained about.
Now I'm going to ask you a couple of questions so I can help:
What is the problem with the rear sway bar, in other words, is there a noise or just what is the issue with it?
Does the car run normally or are there driveability issues?
Is there a problem with the A/C system and what is it?
Please let me know because I think you may not need any of this.
