Toyota Repair: Air conditioning, 1992 geo prism, r 134 freon

Dear Ted,

I'm looking for advice.  I have a 1992 Geo Prism and the air conditioning was damaged in an accident.  This car is the same as a corolla, but you knew that.  Which kit do I need and do I need a conversion kit also?  Where do I get the stuff?  My mechanic can't order it.  I want to save money.

What part of the air conditioning system was damaged in the accident and is it repaired already? If your question is how to change it over to the R-134 freon, the kits are available at almost all automotive parts supply stores, just follow the instructions.
