Toyota Repair: warming engine, efi engine, late model

Hello,I have a toyota and wondering your opinion of warming up the engine in the winter[N.C.].I also rev it pretty high before taking off to work.My wife says this is damaging my engine.Wondering what you think about it.

If it's a late model with an EFI engine, the computer sets the fast idle speed until the engine is warmed up, there is no need to manually rev the engine up, it doesn't matter if you let it sit until it's warmed up or just get in and start it and drive off.
