Toyota Repair: After market AC, 1993 toyota paseo, toyota paseo

Just had a deer/auto accident and need to replace my 1993
Mazda, which was a wonderful little car I've had since 1993.

I'm very interested in a 1993 Toyota Paseo.  Everything about it
is perfect except - NO air conditioning and summers here are
HOT.  Could I have your input on adding after market ac.  Is it
effective?  Is it very expensive?  Thanks.

I don't think there is any choice, I dont think Toyota makes any more air conditioning systems for this car, so yes, have an aftermarket system installed but make sure that is an "R-134" system. How much it costs depends on where you live so call around to a few shops in the area that specialize in A/C installations.
