my camry has a oil leak and i was told it was coming from the vale gasket and also needed a oil sending unit i have had this repair done and the oil lite still blinks and car still smoke i dont no if maybe old oil on the engine from old oil also it's tapping what is your suggestion

Engine smoking from the tailpipe indicates serious problems. There may be a problem with the piston rings, there could also be a restricted oil pump pickup screen, this will lower the oil pressure to the bearings, try changing the oil and filter and see if it helps any.
