If I just passed an emmissions test, is it possible I need a new connector pipe, muffler & tailpipe for $265?

Told this when went in to get oil change..

Is there a place to check parts prices that are quoted.  Many thanks

If you just passed the emission test I don't see how that could be possible, I'm assuming that they recommended this because there is an exhaust leak, is this correct?
If there is an exhaust leak there is no way you could have passed an emission control test. At least not in california.
