Toyota Repair: radio-stereo, theft deterrent system, camery

I had to replace the battery on my 99 camery and the radio will not come back on, is there a way to re-set or something I am not doing?

Some of the radios have a theft deterrent system, if they are removed from power for a certain time they will lock up and become unusable until the security code is entered. When you turn on the radio is there an "SEC" message on the display?
If you have the security code the owner's manual will instruct you how to input it to unlock the radio, if you do not have the code you will have to contact the toyota dealer, they should be able to help with this.
