T/A, is slipping,should i replace it or just do a straight shaft? I only use it for hay or feeding. tks dan

  That's entirely up to you.  There is a TA eliminator shaft available, but it's still just as much work to remove the old TA and install the eliminator as it is to install a new TA.  But of course the advantage is that you will never have TA trouble again.  The new mechanical diode TA that is available from Case IH is a big improvement over the old sprag clutch type and lasts much longer and has a 15 year warranty.  I recommend that you get some prices and then decide which way you want to go.
