Tractor Repair: 580 k wont start, battery cable, solenoid

Question
Have a 580k 2wd good battery, verified good voltage to starter, when key is turned, relay under the console clicks but no solinoid engagement.

Hello,

  Don't know which terminal on the starter you have checked for voltage.  If you are checking the large terminal with the battery cable attached, you also need to check the small terminal that is energized when the key is turned to the start position.  If there is power in the start position, the solenoid or starter is bad.  If there is no power to the small terminal, it could be a bad connection in the wiring, a faulty neutral start switch, or a bad relay.
