Tractor Repair: Allis Chalmers hydraulic problems, agco dealer, allis chalmers
QuestionMy dad has a d17 and the hydraulics pop out of gear all the time.Ive looked all over for some sort of filter and cant find one on the tractor. When they do work they are pretty weak at times. If you could help us it would be awsome. Thanks Dan
Answer
Hello,
My information tells me there is a filter, but does not give a location. Also there were a couple different series of this model, so they may all have a different hydraulic filter arrangement. Contact an Agco dealer and tell them what series it is to find the filter location. I would recommend getting a manual also. If the hydraulics are weak when they do work, I would recommend checking the relief valve and pump. You should have at least 2100 psi minimum and 2600 psi peak pressure.
