Tractor Repair: 1955 ford 960 brake overhaul, brake overhaul, new shoes

I have removed the left side brake drum to install new shoes. Of the two springs the smaler one is broken. I have found a replacement but cannot figure out where it goes. Help!! Thanks

Hi marlin
Why not have a look at the other side –the right wheel!
Or even the manual.
At this stage its a good idea to apply some copper grease to the moving parts --cams etc.
