Hi:  My mower blades won't disengage.  Will a rebuild kit for the PTO solve the problem??

Hi Dan.
Have you looked in the manual?
It sounds like a service problem. or lack of it!
I'm possible to say about the service kit .
If the vehicle kept under cover. it could be just a small amount of rust on the operating lever have a good look under neath.
Turn the tractor on its side or at 45 Deg. Engine not running .
Check fuel cap for leaks.
You may be able to see some seized parts have you greased
as per instructions .
