Tractor Repair: 801 Ford running problem, blow by blow, fuel filter

I have a 801 ford pre 1965, it will not run unless the choke is fully extended

J Gordon if the tractor was running ok in the past the main ting that could be wrong is that the fuel filter could be blocked or the fuel tap could have some rubbish caught in it.
The next thing is did you touch any of the carbie settings as some of these are adjustable main jet or idle control.
Please give me a blow by blow story of what happened to ge to where you are at present.
