Tractor Repair: rear axle seal replacement, rear axle seal, seal replacement

Hi, I have a MF 231  1996 that has oil coming out of the rear brack drum and getting on the rim and wheel. does this sound like an oil seal ? Jf so, is it a repair that i can handle without special equipment ? Are the seals pressed into the housing or just a matter of getting to it and replacing.  Thanks for any help...Dave

David it is a job that I would not attempt my self if I was not mechanicaly minded.

You can remove the wheel brake drum and axle assembly then take the axle to the dealer who will push the bearing and flange off to replace the seal after he removes the lock collar.
This is about as far as I would go.
