Triumph Repair: body off frame, steering column, seat belt

I have a 1970 spitfire I am trying to remove the body from the frame I removed all obvious bolts and the seat belt bolts I disconnected the parking brake remove the steering column but cant lift it off there is no point with any give it is not even seperating an inch off the frame I am hoping you can help.

Hi Dave,

It sounds like you have not removed all of the bolts holding the body on to the frame.

I have loaded a diagram and a couple of statements that may help on my web site about this subject.

Go to http://mg-tri-jag.net/SpitfireFrame1.jpg  for the diagram and then change the suffix from 1.jpg to 2.jpg and then 3.jpg to read some help in locations of bolts.
