hi  when the car is sanding the indicators are frozen on,it is only when I start to drive that they work,

Hi John, if you are talking about turn signal indicators, they operate by the resistance of the bulbs so if the voltage is low or the wattage of the bulbs are wrong than the bulbs will just burn steady until the voltage is raised by the charging system.

First check the charge rate (13.8 to 14.5v) and if that is correct check the wattage of all the bulbs and try to get higher wattage bulbs or try a new flasher unit.
