Triumph Repair: ignition coil, triumph tr 4, rule of thumb

On a triumph tr-4, does the + or- terminal
on the coil go to the distributor?

Basic rule of thumb:  whichever way the car is grounded, connect that lead from the coil to the distributor.  

So, if you're setup Positive ground, connect the (+) terminal to distributor.  Negative ground?  Connect the (-) to the distributor.
