Triumph Repair: window to soft top seal, wet country, rain storm
QuestionJim
Thanks for the prompt response. I agree that a wet country has done an amazingly bad job of sealing their cars (we have a Mini too) and Lucas is of course responsible for many issues with electrics. I had actually figured you would tell me to drive the car with the roof off all the time and avoid rain! As you suggest, I can move to LBC!
Again thanks!!!
AnswerJohn,
My first Spitfire had been hit with a boat trailer, bending the soft top frame. With the window full up there was a 2" gap in the middle of the drivers window to soft top. Not fun in the winter.
And yes, my '63 Cooper is also quite damp inside during a rain storm. I think my autocrosser with no windshield/top stays drier.
Cheers,
Jim
