How do I fit a fan belt? many thanks

I'm not familiar with your car, does it have separate belts or one long one? For the latter there is a tensioner which has to be released - it is usually spring loaded and can be turned with a socket and a long tommy bar- then the belt slips off.  Make sure you have a chart of how it goes around the pulleys.
