Im having trouble with the engine turning over you have to keep the key turned for about 10 seconds and then it will fire, the battery in the key fob needs changing would the be the cause of the problem if not have you any idea please

No the key fob would have no effect on starting.  It sounds like a loss of fuel pressure, you need to have someone do a pressure leak test. In the meantime, it would make it easier if you turned the ign on and off a couple of times without starting the engine, this should build up pressure making it easier to start.
