how do you repair alternater belt on a 1997 1.4 rover 200

Hello, I'm not familiar with the vehicle, but todays vehicles usually have one belt to drive everything.  There is a spring loaded tensioner that has to be retracted to remove the belt.  You may need a special tool.  Ask for advice when you buy the new belt, it may even come with instructions.
