Volkswagen Repair: Transmission fluid, volkswagen passat, transmission kit

I have a 1991 Volkswagen passat GL 2.0L and was wondering what kind of transmission fluid it takes and what kind of transmission kit i should get. I need to replace transmission gasket and all.

 The fluid spec is GLS1, aka G50, aka 75w-90.
Here's a source for the filter kit for the 1991 GL; it has individual part numbers so you can look up other sources if you wish.
