I am looking for a diagram for the color codes to install a radio on an 92 vw golf

Color codes are for paint colors, and their located under the carpet in the back by the spare tire.
I think you're asking about radio codes?  
They should be on a card with your owners manual.  Instructions to set the code are in your manual as well.  If you don't have the code, you'll need to see a local dealer.
