Volkswagen Repair: engine light on poor performance, vw jetta, hall sensors

1994 vw jetta,144k,replaced engine and t-belt 1 year ago ran great untill last week,engine light is on pulled 0515 hall snsor code replaced distrib and same,replaced computor still same,tested wires ohms,volts,cont  alll good       HELP!!no power   also checked rechecked and rechecked timming marks.

I haven't had this problem before.  But whenever I had hall sensors go, the engine wouldn't start at all.
What size engine have you got?   

Check the ground wires at the head, I've seen them frey or break and cause this problem. Also check the wiring to your O2 sensor.
