Volkswagen Repair: starters, long bottom, bolt

Someone stripped the top bolt on the passat starter. Do u know where i can find one

I think your local dealer will stock them, they're not expensive.

When you install it take out the short bolt on the bottom of the starter and loosen the long bottom bolt 1/2 turn.
Install the new top bolt, by moving the transmission up or down with a jack. Once the top bolt is in, install the short bottom bolt then tighten all three.
