Volkswagen Repair: VW Vento Heater Core, vw vento, heater cores

I own a 92 VW Vento, it is similar to a Jetta.
I need to ored a new heater core for it. If I order the heater core for the Jetta, will it fit in the Vento?

I am not 100% sure that the heater core is the same but I am almost certain.  I thought the Vento was exactly the same as the Jetta just a rebadged European model.  I live in Canada and here there was a recall on the heater cores in these cars, you should check and see if that applies to you.
