Volkswagen Repair: clutch, clutch disc, star wheel

How do you adjust the clutch on a 1995 jetta III with manual not Hydrolic cable?

I am assuming that it has remained the same here  that the adjusting star wheel is near the firewall and you can rotate it some to give you more or less play at the pedal.  Normally, it should be right as is...if the clutch is getting hard to push, you may need a new clutch disc.
