Volvo Repair: 2001 volvo xc aw auto trans, torque convertor, valve body

p740(torque convertor clutch solenoid circuit open) code at 55-60mph. replaced valve body..no change? stays in 5th at higher speed until reset (2100 rpm@60mph). below about 55mph shifts normally without triggering code. garage said software updated and wiring ok?
