Volvo Repair: Climate control head, climate control unit, volvo s80
QuestionMy '01 Volvo S80 died last nite-I was jumped off & took the car to dealer -battery replaced. I rec'd a call from the dealer stating that when the service tech drove the car out of the garage he noted that the AC wasn't working. He claimed it needed a new climate control head to the tune of $1200.00. AC was working beautifully prior to them working on the car. I was told that when a car is jumped off it can blow the circuit in the climate control head. If this was the case, wouldn't the AC have quit working when I had it jumped off the night before? Any recommendations? Thank you.
