QUESTION: I have a 1985 volvo 245 turbo the car starts but dies after 5 to 10 min and
after it dies it won't restart

ANSWER:     Sam, when it will not start are you losing spark or fuel?

 Sam, probably the ignition module or the hall transmitter itself, or the wires for it at the Distributor. They break at the point of entry or just inside. You can buy just the parts to repair it. You do not need to replace the whole distributor.
