QuestionI can't get the front window defrosters to blow air. I have vacuum up to the
canister, but the 3 button distribution buttons do not work. Nothing comes
out of the top defroster vents.
Any ideas to solve the problem? If I can't get the buttons to work, is there a
way to manually open the defroster vents?
Answer Kik, you probably have a leak somewhere in the system. Maybe the defrost servo diaphragm? The three buttons are stone reliable and Ihave Never replaced a set unless physically broken by misuse/abuse. Have the system smoke tested to find the leak.
Yes, you can wire the servo arm open for full time defrost, unless that is what's broken?
