Volvo Repair: 1979 244 volvo, center vents, heater core

Question
How do i replace heater core in this car. When i use defrost it is fogging so
assuming i have a leak in heater core,,

Erik, Not exactly a fun job.  For me, the easiest way is to take the dash out.  You can do it by taking the case out from the right side but the heater hoses never come off when you try to do it from the center vents.  It takes only a few extra steps to take the dash out. Roger
