Volvo Repair: S80 Headlight Lens, headlight lens, thanks john

Hi.   A rock cracked my driver's side lens and repair places claim you have to buy the entire assembly (with labor ~ $500).   I see lenses can be purchased via Internet for $70.  Is this something that can be changed at home (w/ moderate repair skills)?  Thanks.

John, they arent too bad to do but taking the assembly out is a little tricky because the right way to do it is take the bumper cover off but I never do.  you can get a away with removing 2 side screws and pull the bumper cover out a little and then the assembly comes out.  All you need for tools is 10mm socket and a regular screwdriver to pop clips off assembly.
