dear Roger,
can i order a a/c compressor on line? if so how do i order the correct replacement? any identification on the old compressor still on the car that i should look for?

Jerry, Most places are pretty good when you give them the year, model, etc.  You can try the part number but like I said, the compressors are usually in the system.  Just dont buy a remanufactured unit.  You will be disappointed when you have to change it again in a few months.  Stick with new.  Roger
