Volvo Repair: V70-2000 reart wiper motor, 20f, fuses

On my V70-2000, the rear wiper was going slowly during the last two winters (below Temp. about -20F). By the end of this winter, it was just dead : no movement  up to now (Temp above 50F).  Fuses are OK.  What is next to check?   How to have acces to the motor?  I am afraid it ready to be changed... so $$$.   Thanks for your help.

Denis, thats what happens when you use things. They wear out.  It sounds like the motor is toast but there may be a problem in the linkage.  You need to remove the panel to access it.  I suggest a Volvo shop for this one.  $$$ is what happens when you have a Volvo.  Get used to it.  Its starting to show its age.  Stuff will start breaking.  Roger
