Volvo Repair: Volvo 850 Turbo Oil Leak, volvo 850, turbo oil

I Have A 1996 Volvo Turbo 850 Which Is Leaking Oil. I Had The Pan Seal Done At A Service Center, Not Volvo Certified, And A Few Weeks Later It Returned. Now If It Is The Rear Main Seal, How Bad Is This. Can You Give Me A Little Insight On What Has To Be Done. Thank You.

Carlton, put it this way, its about $1000.00 to do the job.  It has to be the utmost worst job to do on an 850.  I hope whoever did that pan used Volvo chemical gasket. If some bozo tried to seal it with silicone, you are asking for trouble and a pissed off mechanic who would have to clean that mess up.  Roger
