Volvo Repair: volvo 240 a/c, volvo 240, c case

I get water draining on my front passenger side floor from my a/c condenser...my mechanic tells me that there is not drain hole in the tray to direct the water outside the car...I live in Florida so the a/c is on most of the year...is there any remedy, I don't want the floor to rot or the rugs to get moldy

Mike, get a new mechanic that knows Volvos.  Take the passenger foot panel off and look at the A/C case.  In the middle is a black hose.  Its probably clogged.  If you are in the Fort Myers ares, I can help you out.  If you tell me where you live, I may be able to help you find a Volvo Shop.  Roger
