Volvo Repair: Volvo V70 Gas Lid, volvo v70, tank lid

Question
The gas tank lid hinge broke.  I've order a new hinge, how do I access and install the new hinge?  Do I attempt to go through the side of the trunk and any special methods to pop off the old hinge and install the new one?

Peter, use a small pin punch on the old hinge.  You can see where they are on the old hinge.  After you punch them through, then use a screwdriver and gently pry the old hinge out.  Install the new hinge carefully and make sure the pins seat properly.  Roger
